1. Welcome to Alison Hudson nail artist and Educator at Polished Nails and Beauty
Thank you for choosing me. These Terms & Conditions outline what you can expect from me and what I ask of you as a valued client.
By booking an appointment with me, you agree to the terms set out below. Please take a moment to read through them before your visit.
2. Booking and Appointments
All bookings are subject to review and confirmation. Your appointment is not confirmed until you receive confirmation from me.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment time to avoid delays for other clients, or I may need to reschedule your appointment. Where charges may apply. Please note a £10 deposit is required at booking from all NEW clients.
3. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
I require at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend your appointment without notice (a 'no-show'), may affect your ability to book future appointments. A late cancellation fee or no show fee will be applied. Late cancellation 50% of treatment price. No show full amount of treatment price.
I understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact me and I will do my best to accommodate you.
4. Payment
Payment is due at the end of your appointment.
I accept cash and bank transfer as payment methods.
All prices are quoted in GBP (£). Please ensure you have your preferred payment method ready at the end of your service.
5. Refunds
Due to the nature of my services, I am unable to offer refunds for completed treatments.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your service, please speak to me at the time of your appointment or contact me as soon as possible afterwards so I can try to resolve any concerns.
6. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the best results and a pleasant experience for everyone, I kindly ask that you arrive on time for your appointment.
Please refrain from eating during your appointment.
If you have any allergies, skin conditions, or health concerns that may affect your treatment, please inform me before your appointment.
7. Health and Safety
Your health and safety is my priority. I maintain high hygiene standards and use quality products.
Some nail products may cause reactions in certain individuals. If you have known sensitivities or allergies, please let me know in advance so I can take appropriate precautions.
If you are feeling unwell or have any contagious conditions, I kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment to protect both yourself and others.
8. My Right to Refuse Service
I reserve the right to refuse or terminate a service if a client arrives under the influence of alcohol or drugs, behaves inappropriately, or if I believe proceeding with the treatment could cause harm.
In such cases, payment may still be required for the time booked.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be communicated to you before your next booking.
